FAKTR

FAKTR stands for Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation.

FAKTR is the progression of instrument assisted soft tissue treatment with functional movement or exercise. Having the diverse background as a Chiropractic Physician and Sports Medicine Athletic Trainer, Dr. Crosby understands the most effective forms of rehabilitative exercises and sport specific functional movements and training. Dr. Crosby uniquely incorporates soft tissue treatment while specific movements or activities are being performed by the patient. Dr. Crosby will also treat the pain generating tissues while the patient is instructed to move through the painful or restricted ranges of motion. This produces rapid pain reduction and increased range of motion while empowering the patient to understand that it is "OK" to move through the discomfort. This removes the patient's anxiety and allows them to get back to normal movement and activities as quickly as possible.

Who can Benefit from FAKTR?

FAKTR is a preferred treatment for both the highly active and sedentary individuals. FAKTR is a great way to treat athletes quickly, however, the concept can be applied to all ages and all body types. FAKTR is excellent for those involved in auto accidents, repetitive motion activities, work related injuries, post surgical work including joint replacement, injuries suffered every day at home and conditions of daily living.
